Customs Duties

Physical inspection (“Aforo”)
- It is the activity in which Customs randomly recognizes the merchandise, verifying its nature and value, establishing its weight and measurements, classifying it in the tariff nomenclature and determining the applicable duties.
Customs Agent
- It is the natural or legal person authorized by the national superintendence of customs that officially represents the consignees or owners of the cargo.
Warehousing or Customs Warehouses
- It is the space provided to the cargo in the warehouses determined by the company as long as its clearance is requested.
